    Inspiring and Compelling

Posted by Meg on Aug 20th 2021

I came across Bruce Holwerda’s work on Pinterest as I was searching for inspiration for a book I was writing. Bruce’s subjects all seem to have a story, and I love imagining the backstories of figures such as the Lady of Remarkable Secrets. She’s framed and hanging above my writing desk, where she keeps me feeling creative!

Females shoulder the evolution of the planet and Universes.....

I met Bruce at an arts festival in Atlanta, I found his card in my wallet after living through Katrina in MS. His 8 prints raised my vibratory frequency to endure the catastrophe of horror and destruction around me.

    Remarkable!

Posted by David James McCann on Feb 23rd 2021

We met Bruce in Mt. Dora several years ago and held this lady in our hands, knowing then she was going to be in our home. She fits well with our gallery of rogues and "world's most interesting characters". Thanks Bruce! Item was expertly packaged and promptly shipped. We couldn't be happier!

This is the one that started me down the path of Bruce's art. It literally stopped me in my tracks when I walked into his booth at the Woodland Art Fair. My interpretation was she was a version of the Statue of Liberty. That is the day Bruce captured me and my daughter as a fan.
